Our Commitment to Inclusion and Accessibility
At Fat Sal’s, we strive towards a commitment to inclusion and accessibility. From on-site to the internet, we want to make it accessible for anyone to enjoy our food and learn more about what we’re up to.
What is Web Accessibility?
Web accessibility is the inclusive practice of ensuring there are no barriers that prevent interaction with, or access to websites, by people with disabilities. When sites are correctly designed, developed and edited, generally all users have equal access to information and functionality.
As the internet advances, so do web browsers, operating systems and websites. At Fat Sal’s we want to measure our web presences against industry standards. As of January 2018, the industry is measuring accessibility standards with WCAG 2.0 (https://www.w3.org/WAI/standards-guidelines/wcag/) . Fat Sal’s and the web design & development team is constantly evaluating the new additions to the website against the guidelines above to make things more accessible.
As this is a website that is forever changing, we encourage you to reach out if you have any questions or find a problem accessing information on the website. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org and we will take your concern in mind to help shape a more accessible website.
